Hmmm. I’m sensing a theme here. How about at least one post without any mention of Adobe? Kodak is licensing QuickTime to stuff into their next-generation of sweet, mega-pixelly consumer devices.

“QuickTime is established, broadly used and, most important, easy to use. These are key characteristics when you want to make technology broadly useful and fun for consumers.”

Broadly speaking, Kodak may be onto something here. These “key characteristics” are the same that you would find in fun consumer products like alcohol and handguns. And as we all know, consumers just can’t seem to get enough of them can they?
