Sigh. The old content engine has been pretty much running on empty around here of late. Sorry about that. Other priorities, other projects… you know the story. Of course, part of that story is my time-sucking day job at Veer. (Please note that the term ‘time-sucking’ used in this previous context should not be construed … More

Would you care to consider a little constructive photocultural legislation jamming? Of course you would. February 1st has been unofficially declared National ‘Photography in the Age of Homeland Security’ Day by concerned citizen Cheri Smithson. She has been continually frustrated by the artistic community’s lack of social commentary and reaction to the increasingly restrictive photographic … More

Leander Kahney is a most consistent and entertaining purveyor of tales and ephemera culled from the frothing communities of both Mac and Newton users. True to his style, he has just published a Wired News article featuring none other than one of my favorite pet projects, the Newtons Around The World gallery. Fittingly entitled The … More

Finally. Not that I had been tapping my foot impatiently, just waiting for the privilege of spending more coinage on music or anything. But, finally. As of last night the iTunes Music Store officially became canuckified. And there’s none of that goofy exchange rate nonsense to get knotted up about either. Apparently the dollar is … More
