The SXSW Found Type Photowalk 2010
I’ve always been of the mind that photography and type are a natural fit. They go together like kittens and cute … or, in this particular instance, like Austin, TX and the month of March. And with that rather obvious segue, I’m excited to announce that another Found Type Photowalk will take place during this year’s SXSW Interactive on Sunday, March 14th. The current plan is to meet in the lobby of the Hilton Austin (the same spot by the escalators as last year) and depart around 10:00 am. Hopefully, this slightly later start time will be more compatible with the extracurricular activities and adventures known to occur the previous evening.
With the absence of the dapper, gadget-laden Dan Rubin from this year’s festivities, the organization of the event has fallen into the (hopefully) capable hands of Luke Dorny, Scott Boms, and yours truly. Please help us spread the word.
Additional details will be posted to the Flickr group and via Twitter as they become available.
In the meantime, register through Eventbrite and add the event to your calendar of choice. Registering will also give us an idea of how many photogeeks and typedorks to expect.
Hope to see you there.
