I’d like to introduce to you some of the new friends I’ve become acquainted with while digging through the bowels of my Qube this evening, trying to get the damn router config working again. Presenting, in no particular order or chronology:
- /var/log/messages
- /etc/hosts
- /etc/resolv.conf
- /etc/inetd.conf
- /etc/sysconfig/network
- /etc/sysconfig/static-routes
- /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
- /var/cobalt/status
- find / -name ‘*.pop’ -print
- rm *.pop -f
- find / -name ‘*.lock’ -print
- rm *.lock -f
I would like thank whoever is ultimately responsible for the blessings bestowed upon us by the gracious and almighty telnet. Now, I do believe I’m going to bed.
