When Buzzwords Become Meaningless DroningBuzzwords don’t become meaningless, as they are inherently meaningless from the start. Teched-up, recontextualized sputum has taken the place of clarity in business communication and conversation. The buzz comes from the fact that your ears are hearing new combinations of sounds, rather than from the content itself. Without the buzz, the rest of the words fall flat. And if that’s the case, perhaps most of these things are better left unsaid.
