Yoicks! Have you ever noticed how anniversaries seem to have a maddening habit of sneaking up from behind and then whacking you upside the head with the force of a hundred kilo bag of hammers? Related to that seemingly random thread of blatherment, I just realized that as of tomorrow this fine slice of the internet, namely splorp.com, is five years old. Five. Can you believe it? You can now use all of the digits on one hand to tick off the birthdays. This is assuming, of course, that you haven’t suffered the loss of one or more of said digits in some tragic, yet unavoidable industrial accident. Right. And nothing new to show off either. Seeing as my redesign is still in the early stages of put-togetherness, my poor site will just have to start its sixth year of existence wearing its current utilitarian duds. Crud. Celebrate as you see fit.
