The short answer.
There’s plenty to be said for being succinct when it comes to providing technical information for a software product. Some people get overwhelmed when confronted with too much detail and jargon. Personally, I prefer the verbose release notes from folks like Bare Bones to the ultraminimalist documentation of other (nameless) software companies. For example, examine the following reply I received this morning.
