Repantherated.

I spent the bulk of today shuffling and organizing thousands of font files (supplied by a third-party vendor who: 1) should know better; and 2) shall remain nameless for the time being) into something vaguely resembling a logical cross-platform product map. When I did manage to pry myself away from this necessary — but excruciatingly cranium-numbing activity — for a couple of minutes here and there, I tuned into the Ars Technica review of Mac OS X 10.3 Panther. As always, the indubitably meticulous John Siracusa offers a solid read, sprinkled with just enough dry wit to keep things entertaining. As software reviews go, it’s as smart, thorough, and bitingly enjoyable as they come. It’s as timely as the minor dot rev Apple somehow spanked out the door today. And yes, my brain feels much better now. Thanks for asking.
